The android has wifi capabilities so you will be able to use your phone to receive data but not voice. This means you can browse the web and check emails but wont be able to send/and receive phone calls or text messages through your cell service. There are 3rd party application like Google Voice and Skype that would allow you to make phone calls over the internet using your data plan. I&#39;ve been using it since I posted (Jan 2nd) and have found it much easier and faster to type. Personally, I think it gets some getting used to and time to go though the tutorial. I have talked with a few people who have used it; some really like it and others find it useless. For the first week, in effort to “break-in” the battery, I did not charge the phone until the battery was completely drained. Typical usage of my phone each day: 4-6 hours of streaming radio via Slacker, hourly weather updates via weather bug widget, 10-15 text messages, 20-30 minutes reading articles via News Robb, 1 hour of talk time, and of course frequent Gchat conversations and Facebook browsing via Dolphin browser. I unplug my phone around 6am every day and do not charge it again until I go to bed around 11.
