Google Maps 3.4...now with pinch zoom

I just downloaded the new version of Google Maps (v3.4 for Motorola Droid) from the Market and it has multi-touch pinch zoom support. Hopefully this means we are closer to getting the browser/gallery updated in a software update soon. This update also includes the Navigation "night mode" that was released a few days ago on the Nexus One. (Night mode automatically is turned on based on the time of day.) Other features include personalized suggestions and synchronized starring. For more info check out the google mobile blog.
