I was lucky enough to be given access to twitter lists. This new beta feature is similar to facebook lists. You can create specific lists for friends/faimly/co-workers etc. It allows you to create both private lists, that others can view/follow, and private lists. What I like about this feature is that if you follow tons of people (unlike me), you can help organize and de-clutter your messages. Sometimes you not interested in blogs/news and just want to see what your friends/family are all tweeting about. It works like a filter for your messages. I think its a neat feature and glad to see that twitter is continuing to add useful features.
When you login you are greeted with this banner.
When you create a new list, a new URL is created after your usual twitter name.
You can then go through your existing followers and add people to these lists.
You can view your new lists from your home page.
Click on one and it brings up your followers tweets from the list.
